| Simultaneous Language Translation |
 |
| Overview |
Uses |
Today, effective communication involves not only
being heard but also being understood in more than one language. Landmark
Audio’s Assisted Listening Systems are ideal for language interpretation
applications. Each interpreter’s microphones are connected directly or via the
sound system to an FM transmitter which broadcasts to the translated speech on
one its assigned channels. The Spanish language interpreter, for example, would
broadcast on channel 2 and the English speaker would broadcast on channel 3.
Listeners tune their personal FM receivers to the “English” or “Spanish”
channel to hear the speech in their language.
Landmark Audio Technologies provides facilities managers and language interpretation
professionals with a family of cost effective, easy to use FM-based wireless
transmitters and receivers to meet their
language interpretation requirements.
